Project Discrim

Three years ago I left my country
Two years ago learning your language was my agony
Then I tried to be, the last year, in your society
This year I'll leave you in peace, my lovely.

What funny people you are in the west
You make war for money and ask us to resist
Bombs you don't need, you manage, indeed
The cheap workers, demanding them not to be exist.

If I think reasonably, I should stay here,
Not because I like the west, but because of my future,
I believe we will find this fact some day
The land with no minority, is no where.

The parol is long lets make it short
Lets find eachother in our fathers court
Where there is no race, no religion, no color,
There, everyone would be equally treated in any sort.

Ashakan Dejagah

This post is not against any Jewish or Israelian, it is just to inform you what is the truth and what is my impression about it.

You may know "Ashkan Dejagah" the German-Iranian football player who has refused to go to Israel to participate in a football match.
Also you may know that this act caused lots of troubles and conflicts for him, his family and his future in Germany.

Seems Iranians always have conflicts with the world when they say their real troubles and ask for understanding.

I appreciate what Ashakan did, not because he didn't respect to wish of the country who he plays for, but because he was brave enough to face the truth, say it, face it and let all of us to face.

Certainly it was not respectful to say "because of my personal wish I won't participate" specially for the German society I confess. Every country needs its own football player, and of course they expect he behaves as a German not as an Iranian.

However the German football council certainly considered that they are choosing a German-Iranian not only a German player!

The bi-cultural and bi-national people may understand Ashkan better than me and you in this case.

Ashakan was able to say he was injured and do not participate in the match in Israel, like every Iranian sport man, and no coach usually forces the player if he knows what happens if he does.

Lots of people did that and we do not know since they chose the easiest way to skip not necessarily the correct way for example "Vahid Hashemian" another Iranian football player who played for Bayern Munich, in UEFA championship was injured 2 times not to go to Israel. I believe Ashkan did the most correct way. Personally I support his braveness, and I wish that you think before you declare your viewpoint about this situation.

Do you know that the Iranian who travels to Israel will be prisoned without any questioning? The duration even is declared, it is _AT LEAST_ for 6 months, written on our Iranian passport. Yes, just because of entering in Israel it doesn't matter why, sport, academic, lecture, visit, etc. It may include spy investigation about the family as well as the person who traveled there. I know, it is stupid but it is a law in Iran.

However, Israelians may not have the same problem if they travel to Iran since lots of them have Iranian origin but lots of Iranians do not have Israelian origin!

Even me as an academic person, may not participate in conferences or lectures which might be held in Israel just because of complications that I have to suffer afterwards.

Who in Germany is able to certify security and freedom of Ashkan or his family if they travel to Iran, considering the law which is mentioned in our Iranian passport?

Can you even assure security of Ashkan in Germany if he stays in Germany?

Considering the bloody terror of group of Iranians in Germany: Dr. Sharafkandi and 10 of his close friends which led to the well-known Mikonus court. The German court recently decided to free the two involved terrorists when it was evident they did it.

I have impression that the German government doesn't take care about security of its Iranian inhabitants. I ask myself do they do the same if the bloodshed was done on a group of originally German inhabitants?

I ask you: can you assure that the same thing won't appear for Ashkan or his family in Germany if an extremist decided to do the justice by himself and kill them as spies? Can you assure that even after their death with a machine gun and catching people who were responsible for the bloodshed, the German court won't free them like Dr. Sharafkandi's case?

You! yes! you who ask him to play in Israel, did you experience 1 month in prison as a spy when you did nothing wrong, and then ask Ashkan to do that for 6 months.

Can you find a reasonable person to pay at least 6 months of his happy life in prison for what you call a _FAIR_ play?

I think it is better to appreciate Ashkan for saying his real trouble, and help each other to find a reasonable solution which satisfies everyone. Such that we are able to live together in peace and happiness. It is better understand each other at least to try it, then automatically the others will do their best to understand us as well.
